Nearly 1M without power 5 days after ice storm

This is an example of why I think we need to create a new power grid and not just upgrade the old one. We need to remove the possibility of these events repeating. Take the power cables underground like many big cities have already done, and protect them from such weather events that down pole and power lines.

2. To enable them, in their corporate capacities, to receive grants of lands; and, so far, is against the laws of mortmain.

3. To make alien subscribers capable of holding lands; and so far is against the law… Continue

CORRECTION: Well, I meant that our X-GEN units are not ready for public demonstration. Proof-of-Concept Prototype (POCP) on lower performance units is ready. It's just that such disclosure is proprietary understanding, trade secret, pre-patent. Will only show under Non-Disclosure Agreement to a reputable firm under ample documentation and with deep enough pockets to litigate over if screwed. Conferences really only serve to hook us up with the little companies jockeying for clean tech commerce and where there isn't much capital to levy against if disclosing our secrets. Too public. We're still getting our vision to the big fish like Mr. Pickens if he's interested. People and companies that can make it happen. Due to the nature of our stuff, the smaller ones probably won't have what it takes to overcome market barriers and we'd only be cheating shareholders of their investments that way. But, for your stuff that is less controversial and hated.....the conference might be a good thing.

Hi Fred,

William and I are now friends and at peace. :-) Anyhow, just a notice I'm circulating to my energy friends...

NOTICE: Got a brochure in the mail today from a company advertising for a battery and EV/hybrid car conference coming up in December. California. Contact me in private interested in the name and details. I might go. I dunno if it's worth the $500 to $1200 fees yet or for which one. If it's just a typical engineering conference -- like ASME or AIAA -- with lectures from various dweebs yapping on the wonders of more future caveman tech....forget it. They have a bunch of corporate attendees and supposedly lots of major "decision-makers" there. I kinda doubt that from a mostly corporate board world or government admin dweebs. They all have to run home and present things and get the boss' permission at least, but there surely might be some CEO's and CTO's there worth schmoozing with. Our X-GEN stuff isn't ready for presentation, but I could throw together some demonstration gizmos that bewilder the naysayers. Got a buddy with wild battery technology that would blow away anything they've got there, but I'm still seeing if he wants to go. Thinking it might be fun to crash the party, but I'm still waiting to hear more about what it takes to get a booth there. :-) We could always set up a sidewalk booth right outside if they don't wanna let us in. But, it's long drive from here. I may or may not. Still looking into it. In any case, some of you may be interested in attending and getting your ideas before people there.

Hi Fred,

In my latest reply to William on the thread below, there's a bunch of Ether understanding and levitation chatter you may enjoy. Doubtful I can teach that guy anything, but at least there are surely others listening who may learn something. Maybe Boone.

Goodnight.

You might enjoy this note sent to Linda a moment ago. :-) Areas in red I've changed to black bold for you here.
----------------------------------
Hi Linda,

A pleasure to encounter your website. Today, I was slugging it out on the Pickens Plan forum with some nit wit and ran by Fred Mars. He and I are just starting to get to know each other on-line and he mentioned a relation to you and your website. I had no idea Mr. Brown's family was still active and keeping his memory alive. So glad to see it.

Your father was a great scientist. It will be fun to learn more about his story. In fact, he may very well have worked under or near my great grandfather's compartment -- which oversaw work like your dad's. Even Tesla's heisted work of Hoover....all stuff they gave to my great gramps for review. You might get a kick to know Dr. Snow was working on electro-magneto-gravitics a little before your father back in the 1920's! In the last days of his life, he was working still on a unification theory for gravity. Oh, you can bet he knew of your dad.

Areas you may find interesting to Dr. Snow's bio are in red [BLACK] below. I am also curious if you ever heard of him in relation to your dad or mentioned by him? How about Col. Paul Linebarger of Army/OSS (Snow's son-in-law)?

Anyhow, just wanted to say hello. Some of your father's work is showcased in my videos:

Snow Labs Big Picture & Renewable Energy Brief http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXDsy5QRllU
Snow Labs Future Technology & Space Vision http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6m65tx1zv0
Snow Labs Attack Aircraft & Spacecraft (ver. 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piNl1Tu73AY

Propulsion & levitation wise, I don't really deal much with your father's work since it is now outdated and wattage per pound of lift efficiency is less than other methods (such as enhanced/ modified Hutchison Effect, sonic, and other means). Your father was a great pioneer in the field, though, and his asymmetric capacitor understanding is great. I have also a few pages of math and physics notes of mine that overlap with that. You're welcome to it if you want.

Anyhow, we stand on his shoulders while he probably stood on the shoulders of Tesla and some of Dr. Snow's work. Just wanted to say that. Along the road to building a real Starship Enterprise, he was among the first and not at all forgotten.

Dr. Chester Snow

Biographical Notes:

Dr. Snow is listed in 1952-3 ed., vol. 27, of Who’s Who in America and other books. Listed in American Men of Science during 1950’s. 14 Feb 1949 was one of 16 scientists out of hundreds of nominees given the Department of Commerce Medal of Award for Exceptional Service. 1902-03 student at Utah Agricultural College. Graduated magnum cum laude from Harvard University in 1906. Obtained PhD. from Univ. of Wisconsin in 1914. From 1906-1911 was professor of Physics and the head of the department at Brigham Young University. Fellow in Physics, University of Wisconsin, 1912-1914. Professor of Mathematics and head of the department at Univ. of Idaho from July 1914 to Mar 1920. Spent 35 years as a mathematical physicist at the Bureau of Standards in Washington, D.C. (Mar 1920 to 1950’s.) Returned to Ogden, Utah and continued to work for the Department of the Army in retirement.

During W.W.II great grandpa Snow was assigned to the Los Alamos Project/ Manhattan Project (1944-45). Was a member of the American Physical Society, American Mathematical Society, Sigma-Xi, and Gamma Alpha (Univ. of Wisconsin, 1913). Snow also did mathematical physics work for the U.S. Navy, Mine Laboratory, Washington Navy Yard, National Defense Research Committee, Department of the Army, Diamond Ordinance Fuze Laboratories. Most of his work at these agencies, with the exception of DOFL, was extremely classified. DOFL work was Restricted in nature. From 1943-1945, Snow did confidential work for the Manhattan Project which has never been released to the public. He received an Army Commendation for his work, though. Dr. Snow also received official commendation for his work from the U.S. Navy, Mine Laboratory, and Washington Navy Yard for his confidential work in the degaussing of ships. One report was co-authored with his son, Dr. Robert M. Snow (of NASA and MIT Research). As late as 1963, Snow was writing to Dr. Kurkjian about technical matters [gravity] and carried a 57 year career in science. Sometime after this point, his eyesight started to fail and he had heart problems -- passing away in 1970.

Publications:

Mainly scientific papers of the National Bureau of Standards. Most writings were in the field of Electricity & Magnetism. Largest open-source published worked was The Hypergeometric and Legendre Functions With Applications to Integral Equations of Potential Theory.

The chief of National Applied Mathematics Laboratories, Dr. J.H. Curtiss, once wrote that Dr. Snow loved to return again and again to the beautiful theory of the Hypergeometric Function. “To derive new formulas pertinent to the hypergeometric function was, quiet literally, his hobby as well as his profession. It is a pleasure to see this important work now added to the Applied Mathematics Series of the National Bureau of Standards. It will stand as a fitting memorial to the author’s distinguished career at the Bureau.” Some other Snow pubs:

Oh, I sent Mr. Pickens email some time ago giving him a summary of things and warning not to invest too much in wind power. Good stuff, but we can certainly strip those props off, cut the masts down, and replace the entire thing with portable units of equal wattage out put and more.

Hi Fred,

Sent you an add friend request, a note through LinkedIn, and now am posting to your wall here. A great pleasure to meet you. I didn't think I would find skunks of my own streak on the Pickens Plan. Whatever comes or if they want to kick me out for beating up on William...fine, but meeting you I suspect will have been worth it. Like your pages. Still touring them and reading.

Pretty much what you're grumbling about on Energy is what I grumble about. The best of my work stands on the shoulders of the great ones in our field. Happy to correspond some in private. Can yap more face to face on SKYPE or by phone whenever's good for you. Should be fun. I'm always learning new things from your crowd. Best education in science I've ever received, and I just engineer wildly from that.

I have written to Mr. Pickens on several occasions and have not received a reply. I even added him to my network on LinkedIn and he accepted but never replied to any of my messages. I am surprised that I haven't been banned from here since I oppose much of what is being done thus far.

Small wind in not THE solution but it is certainly a step in the right direction as it will reduce dependence on other energy sources. I have just run across an interesting idea of photovoltaics that use a rare mineral instead of sunlight, but I find it will be even more cost prohibitive than current solar technology and may be years from development into a viable product.

Scot Brusaw's Solar Roadways is a great idea and one that I support fully. Visit his site to learn more, and you may tell him that I sent you!
