I heard the Pickens plan for a new wind farm is on hold for various reasons.
It may be delayed for 2 or more years. There are existing wind farms.
I thought the members of Pickens plan could contribute to building one more
wind turbine/tower to add to an existing wind farm.

- Haven't been able to get a response from the pickens team on an idea. Maybe you have some pull some where. Assuming the new wind farm is on hold, why not setup a fund to add a windmill to an existing wind farm ? I would contribute to it. My original reason for joining was to increase the use of wind energy !

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to bring to light; a clear heard message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. We cannot afford put this on the back burner again! This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.

Everyone has the option on their profile page to do many things. Everywhere it says (Edit) click and you can customize.
Find (settings); upper right corner of your page. You can update your profile, change the manner you receive things. You can chose to preview the comments coming your way before it can be viewed by others on your page. You can accept or delete the comment.
Also every time you write a comment; you’ll see a little tiny (symbol) of sort in the upper right corner of that comment or post; you can click on it and delete your note. You can still do it months later;

Now is the time we hammer our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastructure changes; allowing grants & incentives to help us achieve the energy independence goal!!!
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

- T. Boone Pickens is a man that has been pushing this plan for a long time with little interest on behalf of the establishment. But his ideas are definitely on target and needed.

The Buzz About Natural Gas
Currently, there is a glut of natural gas in the US. Pipelines and reserves are filled to capacity. Are we using natural gas to our benefit..... NO!
