- Since 1992, when I proposed Solar Power Satellite and Fuel Cell Economy to the White House, George Bush Administration, I was interested in participating the energy of the future. I researched Fuel Cells in the 90's and shied away, but when I got involved back in 2001, I thought the necessity will prevail to push the industry by 2008. The lack of fund ruined the fuel cell catalyst venture, and I am looking for another role to play in the industry. Recently, I have come across, Smart Meter, and Solar Power. Geo Thermal. Also some global initiatives on environment and renewable energy. I should be in this business. I should find a way to make people make money in this area, so that the investment opportunity, and more activities will occur. Time is right and the technology, and the needs are converging. This is where we are now.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It has been neglected too long. It is a matter of necessity to the Nation and to the human being.
- What do you want to do to help?
- That is the 1000 dollar question. What can I do is a better question. It seems to start from home and local community and I want to change my career into this cause. I was in a fringe of clean energy, Fuel Cell, and I got hurt badly. I was trying to stay away from the industry because money making in this industry is still far away, and then I am coming across a whole set of new development. I am looking at the tipping point very very soon.

Politics Aside, What Do We Need To Do?
Assuming Obama Administration is going to push for less carbon, more renewable in terms of policy emphasis. However, as people say, "Devils are in the details." Just throwing money into the cause does not get us there fast. Some things must occur. Structural change. Give us your ideas. Let's lay out as the result oriented discussions.

I understand and agree with your comments about the "smart meter" technology being a part of the eventual electrical grid problem, but,-----
Boone has done a magnificent job of focusing us on two major things to work toward, and those two things, wind power/electrical distribution grid, and utilizing natural gas in the vehicles that can easily and conveniently make a difference in our use of foreign oil.
The two are synergistically linked. There are a million details, such as the smart meters, that will eventually solve the overall problems, but I feel, and so do many of the others that are working toward Boone's goals, that it is entirely too early AND TOO EASY to get sidetracked with intimate detail, when what our goal aim is two basic ideas.
It will take all those millions of details to make it work in actuality, but for right now, I will work toward keeping us focused on getting the initial concepts accepted, AND THEN-------

I think the focus I have is that with energy comes power. I don't agree with much of the politics of the past or present. But,I do believe if we as Americans can use the politics to an advantage to carry the tide of renewable energy. When achieved the politics will change. Right now the leaders have the people in a tax and regulation slavery. The complexity of changing politics takes unity. All of us need energy of some kind. We do not have to agree on any other subject, But we will agree on the need for energy.
Hence the unity.
