Letter to DeFazio
Today I noticed my congressman was not a sponsor of the Natural Gas Act, so here is my e-mail to him (Representative DeFazio).
As a long time friend of clean energy, I encourage you to become a co-sponsor of HR 1835, the Pickens Plan inspired Natural Gas Act.
I know it doesn't solve all our problems, but it does put the right American resource to work on the right job at the right time. Even Pickens thinks this is transitional strategy, but the technology and fuel supply is sitting in a box on our front door, waiting to be opened by American workers. What are we waiting for?
Energy independence will require changes and growth on multiple fronts. I believe this is one of them.
