TechnoSanity #31: A look at Waste Management and landfill gas energy resources

Waste Management and the Linde Group recently announced a project to convert landfill gas to liquified natural gas. Landfill gas is of course a major greenhouse gas concern because its major constituent is methane, which is 30x more potent than CO2. They are using the LNG as fuel in WMI's fleet of garbage trucks.
